There is a special Ashram for women in Ahmedabad. The women residing in this 'Mahila Ashram' devote their time to Sadhna (performing spiritual practices) & 'Seva' (doing service to Ashram) under the guidance of the honorable mother Laxmidevi. The women at Mahila Ashram prepare 'Sant Kripa Churna' (an Ayurvedic mixture for healthy mind & body) & other Ayurvedic medicines distributed by the Ashram.
NASHIK: Religious guru Asaram bapu has extended help of Rs 50 lakhs to farmers who were on the verge of committing suicide.Asarambapu, who is holding a Mahashivratri satsang in Nashik on the occasion of Mahashivratri, said: “Like everyone else, I was pained by the news of farmer suicides. It is not enough to simply feel bad for them. By extending a small help, we are only trying to lessen their worries.” He added that the money which is being put together from his ashram in Ahmedabad will be reached to the needy farmer families through the ashram’s voluntary committee.
Pointing a finger at financial institutions and money lenders, Asarambapu said they have become ruthless and commercial. “They do not think twice before entering a farmer’s house and taking away all his belongings. These are big people who have made huge amounts of money without showing any compassion or humanity.”
Asarambapu also stated that if need be more money will be donated. He informed that his ashram has taken up a programme to distribute caps to all. “Moving bare headed in the scorching heat is dangerous. We have taken up the task of making caps available to all on the streets for a nominal cost of Rs 5. If we give it freely, people will not value it,” he said.
आश्रम में नहीं होता है काला जादू – सी.आई.डी.
This was stated in the report submitted by investigating officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police P M Parmar, before Justice A S Dave who was hearing the case on Wednesday.
The report was filed by CID, in reply to the court’s order on petitions by seven ‘sadhaks’ of the Asaram ashram who have claimed innocence and urged the high court to quash the FIR against them in which they have been charged with culpable homicide.
“Places (in the ashram) were thoroughly searched and photographed as well as videography was done during the visit, but no material suggesting practice of black magic has been found,” the report said.
The CID, in its report, said the arrested ‘sadhaks’, were found to be telling lies regarding black magic when they were put through the lie detector. It further said that they were the ones who allegedly delayed informing the police about the missing kids.
Decomposed bodies of two teenagers, Dipesh and Abhishek Waghela, studying in the Asaram Bapu ashram in Motera area here were found from the banks of river Sabarmati on July 5, 2008, two days after they were reported missing by the ashram authorities.
In a bulky report, Parmar has described recording of statements of various people during the probe and explained why the sadhaks were made accused in connection with the death of the boys.
The report further said that statements of students and sadhaks in the ashram were recorded in detail, and the police had visited cellars in the ashram ¿ below the sadhaks’ office, Annapurna Hall, rooms of Maun Mandir behind the kitchen, cellar of Lilasa Bhavan and Jai Mandir.
There was a huge uproar among the people of the locality where the boys lived. During the two bandh calls given by the citizens, there were number of incidents of violence in different parts of the city.
The government has also constituted a inquiry commission headed by a retired Justice D K Trivedi to probe the deaths and the violence that took place during the bandhs.
Meanwhile, parents of the boys have also filed a plea seeking CBI probe in this case, and Justice A S Dave has kept the case for hearing in last week of April.

CID gives Asaram a clean chit
The affidavit-in-reply by CID to the High Court states that there was no evidence of black magic on the Motera ashram premises

The Criminal Investigation Department (crime) has told Gujarat High Court that there is no evidence of black magic being practised at Asaram Ashram at Motera. In an affidavit-in-reply filed on Wednesday following the court directive, CID has however added that when five Asaram followers went through the lie-detection test by Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) the report concluded that they knew about the black magic activities carried out at the ashram but were concealing it. Justice A S Dave has scheduled the next hearing on April 29. Two cousins, Dipesh Vaghela and Abhishek Vaghela, had gone missing from the ashram-run Gurukul in Motera on July 3, 2008. Two days later, their mutilated bodies were recovered from the Sabarmati riverbed. The parents alleged that their children became guinea pigs in a ‘tantra sadhana’ experiment in the ashram. Following a public outcry after their fathers went on an indefinite hunger strike the state government entrusted CID with the probe into the death of two boys. The fathers of the boys had filed a petition with High Court demanding handing over the investigation of the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as the CID Crime was under the influence of political pressures. Moreover, last year CID Crime had filed another FIR, naming seven followers of Asaram to which they appealed for the quashing of the case against them. The High Court then clubbed the two petitions and asked the CID to ascertain the investigated report. However, the postmortem report stated that the reason for the death of the boys as drowning.
CID’s reply stated that no evidence of the tantrik activities were found at the ashram during investigation. However, it stated that when the five Asaram sadhaks went through the lie-detection test carried out by FSL, the report concluded that they knew about the black magic activities carried out at the ashram but were concealing it. The reply also had the details of the statements which were recorded during investigation carried out by the department. On January 8, 2009, the statements of Hetalben and Maniben, who had seen the bodies lying on the spot on August 4, 2008, were recorded. They had shown the police where the bodies were lying. The reply further stated that Justice D K Trivedi had visited the place of incident on the Sabarmati riverbed along with DIG (Crime-IV) and deputy director of FSL and other investigation team on January 28, 2009. |

Modi’s Vinasha Kale Vipareet Buddhi
(Editorial, Hindu Voice, January 2010.)
Can one think of any incident in India where a Masjid or a Church has been raided, for stocking illegal arms and weapons or for giving asylum to anti-nationals and criminals? I have not come across any.
In a Church in Kerala - the Divine Retreat Centre, Thiruvananthapuram - police claim that a total of 974 mysterious deaths, most of them young girls, took place between 1991 and 2006. But the police dreads to enter into the Church complex. In Marad (Kerala), in May 2003 eight innocent Hindu fishermen were brutally murdered by a Muslim mob coming out of a Masjid after their Friday Prayers. Even then, the police did not enter into the Masjid. On the contrary, E. Ahmed from Muslim League, the present Minister of State for Railways, prevented the police from entering and searching the Masjid. Murders and molestation of girls and nuns are very common in orphanages run by Christian organisations. But seldom they get reported in the press, nor do the police dare to act against them, because of their good relations with media persons and the police.
But when it comes to Hindu organisations, the police does not even think twice before raiding the premises and harassing the inmates, even on flimsy grounds. They never care about the reputation of such an institution or Hindu sentiments. They do so either to settle their personal score with the head of the institution, or to prove their secular credentials to the world.
Jayalalitha did a similar atrocious act in 2004 when she raided the Mutt of Kanchi Shancharacharya and arrested Swami Jayendra Sarawati Ji and his junior, Swami Vijeyandra Saraswati, on an alleged murder case. The result is for all to see. She got a drubbing at the elections in 2008 and lost her Chief Ministership.
Harassing and making fun of Hindu Sadhus and Sants has become a past-time for many politicians, especially of Congress, Communist, DMK, etc. Today this ‘swine flu’ has even affected Mr. Narendra Modi, the so called Hindutva mascot, whose government has raided the Sabarmati Ashram of Sant Asaram Bapu on 27th November 2009, and started mercilessly beating up the inmates. Sant Asaram Bapu himself has been implicated in an attempted murder case, along with two others. (Please refer to pages 5, 6, 7 & 8 for more details on this topic and to get a broader picture).
Jayalalitha never thought as to why a 72-year old Shankaracharya heading a 2500-year old hoary institution should ever think of murdering any one. Similarly, Narendra Modi, the so called efficient CEO of Gujarat, never thought as to why a Sant having crores of followers all over the world should think of such a heinous crime. It seems in both the cases power and arrogance have blinded them, to do such unlawful, undemocratic and unethical acts.
We (including myself) have all along been holding Narendra Modi in high esteem. I have many times described him as the modern Sardar Patel - the Iron man of India - and of the Prime Ministerial stuff. But he has betrayed Hindus and is now trying to be secular by harassing a revered Hindu Sant.
If we look back, we can realise that Narendra Modi was never a Hindutva leader. In fact, we were living in illusion, as we were in the case of Mr. L.K. Advani. When Advani took the Ramjanmabhoomi Rat Yatra, his motive was to take advantage of the Hindu resurgence and gain power. Similarly, Modi too is following his mentor, and is taking the Hindus for a ride.
We did have some inkling of what is in store for Hindus sometime back. My editorial in the February 2008 issue of Hindu Voice read "Will BJP take the Hindus for a ride again?". It conveyed the opposition of Hindus in Chennai to Mr. Modi visiting Jayalalitha. He never bothered to visit the beleaguered Kanchi Mutt, but preferred to be with Asuri Jayalalitha and enjoy her multi-dishes feast, with the TN assembly elections in mind. So, even for BJP and Narendra Modi, winning election is more important than the protection of a Hindu institution.
Mr. Modi again proved his secular credentials, when he ordered breaking hundreds of temples in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, in the name of road widening. Ultimately, Shri Ashok Singhalji had to interfere and prevail upon him.
And now comes the attack on the Sabarmati Ashram of Sant Asaram Bapu, on flimsy grounds. It seems that Modi has decided to demolish the Ashram, come what may. The reason may be, Sant Asaram Bapu has closely associated himself with VHP. As is well known, Dr. Praveenbhai Togadiya is a sworn enemy of Modi. And he (Modi) wants to eliminate VHP from Gujarat. He refused to entertain even Ashok Singhalji for talks on his action against Sant Asaram Bapu. Such a person can never be considered as a Hindutva leader.
Muslims and Christians targeting Hindus is not a matter of surprise. Their religions ordain them to do so, and we are prepared for it. But a Hindu CM - having come to power on Hindu votes - trying to demolish a Hindu institution is a betrayal of trust and is filled with dangerous portents. It is Vinasha Kale Vipareet Buddhi. While Modi is sure to meet the fate of Jayalalitha, all Hindu Sadhus and Sants should come together to protect themselves and Sanatan Hindu Dharm from such fake Hindutva leaders.
Modi can regain the confidence of Hindus, even at this late hours if he makes amends. For this, he should immediately apologise to Sant Asaram Bapu, embrace VHP and suspend the concerned police officer for resorting to rowdyism in the Ashram. Otherwise he will be digging his own grave, and this time Hindus too will join Muslims and Christians in burying his govt.

My letter to Shri Narendra Modi dated 6th Dec. 2009 was posted on the internet on 11th Dec. 2009.
Some of the replies I received via email are given below. Apart from this, I have received hundreds of phone calls appreciating my letter. I did receive five (5) responses too opposing my stand.
I am really happy to see the article written by you on the recent incident in Asaram Bapu’s ashram. I was losing my faith in various Hindu organisations and religious leaders as no one was coming forward to defend Bapuji. But your article has shown the step to a lot of people. I was with Sadhu Prof. V. Rangarajan Ji yesterday (13 Dec 2009) when you called him and the meeting with him has assured me that there are still courageous Hindus like you and Prof. Sadhu Ji who are the true sons of Bharat Mata, and not mere vote hungry politicians.

I happened to read your article "kya narendra modi secular banna chahte hai?" (Hindu Voice, Hindi, Dec. 2009). I am really impressed by your views. All the saints are attacked one after the other and at the end of the day, Hindu culture is getting affected. We need people like you who can guide us and raise their voice against all these happenings.
Snehashree Makhija (Email: snehashree.makhija@gmail.com)
I read your articles about Asaram Bapu on the internet. Being a Hindu I was very frustrated seeing all these happenings in Gujarat. But you are the only person who has raised his voice against this cruelty against Hinduism. You are a real Hindu fighting for Truth, for welfare of Humanity and for our Mother Land. I pray God for your long life. Go ahead, the whole Hindu society is with you.
Terdev Tula (Email: nirbhaynaad@gmail.com)
I'm personally very glad to read the attached article of yours (he has sent a scanned copy) . The time requires that truth be presented to the general public with proofs, as incorrect, baseless and false allegations are being made each day on various Press & Media Interfaces. Thanks a million for serving the truth to the society.
Ritesh Serene (Email: ritesh.serene@gmail.com)
Jayalalitha arrested Kanchi Shankaracharya Swamiji on Diwali day. No religious leaders from Islam, Christianity, or even Sikhism is arrested or ill treated very badly. Asaram has followers all over the world. Those people who are revered by Hindus or are respected by Hindus or those who do something for spreading Hinduism are arrested on flimsy ground where no proper procedure is adopted, and these Hindu saints are treated as core criminal without any judgment or any kind of investigation. All these are done to prove their secular nature by the politicians.
Somebody might have done some thing wrong in the Ashram of Asaram Bapu, but it is hard to believe that he himself has done something wrong. The day Jaylalitha arrested Shankaracharya Swamiji, many people had written that Jaylalitha would never become chief minister in her life. By blaming Asaram Bapu and by ill-treating and arresting people from Asaram Bapu’s ashram, Modi has also sealed his fate. Now he will never become a national leader. Now any unknown person will guide Hindus and probably Bhaarat.
Mohan Gupta, Canada (Email: mgupta@rogers.com)
I agree one hundred percent with the sentiments of Mr. Deivamuthu, the Editor of Hindu Voice, demanding a detailed explanation and, if necessary, an apology from Shri Narendra Modi for the dictatorial handling of Shri Asaram Bapu's Ashram and staff. Such wanton police atrocities have no place in any part of a supposedly secular democracy, let alone a model State like Gujarat. Are Hindus in positions of power and authority always destined to be the worst enemies of other Hindus?
Vijay Ashar (Email: bhakta711@yahoo.com)
The whole of Asaram Bapu’s disciples, i.e approximately 50 million Sadhaks are fully supporting you. Wish you all the best.

The media has been against Asaramji Bapu for quite some time. They must be delighted with what has happened. Modi does not talk of Hindutva anymore. He is smart and knows Hindutva will not get votes again and again. He is now only for the development of Gujarat which is good. With the action against the ashram, he also got a chance to prove his secular credentials.
Shiv Ram (Email: shivram12@gmail.com)
I am really happy to see such a wonderful article in Hindu Voice against Narendra Modi. You have asked many straight forward questions. It is really appreciable that some one is raising the voice of Hindus. If Hindus and their Saints are not respected in their own country, then where shall we live? I hope we see more such articles exposing the betrayals of Hindu sanskriti.
Sharath Pottala. (Email: sharathpottala@gmail.com)
You are doing a great work by spreading the voice of Hinduism. The religion which is base for humanity must be safeguareded and spread. Saints are foundation stones for this great reigion. Without them, the Hindu world will be directionless. I congratulate you and your team.

I extend my heartiest gratitude to the Editor for his free and bold observations on the attack on Ashram of Sant Shree Asaram Bapu. Persons like Narender Modi deserve maximum condemation for their anti-national/anti-Hindu misdeeds, that too simply to win votes of minorities, and all this at the cost of ruining the Sanskriti of Hinduism. A lot of people will follow, if one takes the lead in calling a spade a spade! This is the true service to this motherland, our Maa Bharti. Our Sadhuwad!

Vinasha Kale Vipareet Buddhi
My letter dated 6th Dec. 2009 to Shri Narendra Modi
Shri Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Gujarat
Sardar Bhavan, Sachivalaya, Block No.1,
5th Floor, Gandhinagar 382010
Dear Narenda Modi Ji,
I am writing this letter after failing to get any response either from you or the concerned departments, for my many emails and postings at your website. This is in connection with the Police atrocities on Asaram Bapu’s Sabarmati Ashram on 27th Nov. 2009. It was a shocking scene, watching them on various TV channels. Some photographs are produced along side.
The Gujarat Police has every right to raid the Ashram and book the criminals, if any. But, is the police justified in attacking Ashram properties - like breaking window panes, doors, etc.? Is the police authorised to beat the inmates mercilessly and drag them to police vans by holding their hair? You are answerable to the Hindu Society for these vandalism by your men in uniform.
I am not a follower of Asaram Bapu. But as a Hindu, I am pained when a Hindu ashram is attacked. And it is my duty to raise my voice against such injustice. I have met many Sadaks of Asaram Bapu. They wouldn’t hurt even a fly. Then why this brutalities against such Sadaks? You owe an explanation to the Hindu Society (whether followers of Asaram Bapu or not) for this barbarism by your Police.
All our fake secularists seem to be enjoying the entire episode because a so called Hindu CM is trying to demolish a Hindu institution. That is why they have not talked of Human Rights Violation, Police brutality, etc. in this case. Otherwise, activists like Teesta Setalwad would have pounced on you immediately. Now they are nowhere to be seen. They are enjoying the weird scene of a so called Hindu CM attacking another Hindu Sadhu and his Ashram, and this is exactly what they want - Hindus to fight among themselves.
Hindu Organisations are maintaining a strange silence. And common Hindus are just dumbfounded. They are not able to understand what and why this is happening. Why should your police go for such vandalism against an Ashram. At whose instigation this attack took place? Has any police officer been punished for this goondaism?
I have a strong feeling that you are following the path of your mentor - Mr. L.K. Advani - i.e. betraying Hindus after getting their votes and coming to power. So far I was holding you in high esteem. I have even written editorials describing you as the modern Sardar Patel - the Iron man of India. But after this attack on a Hindu ashram and the demolition of hundreds of temples in Ahmedabad, I consider you as a Coward. You seem to select soft targets to establish your secular credentials - probably to get a US visa! You are behaving like a dictator, even with your own followers and supporters.
In the Dec. 2007 Gujarat Assembly Elections, Hindu Voice fully supported you. In my editorial, I even compared Dr. Pravinbhai Togadiya to Jaichand for opposing you. For this I incurred the wreath of VHP and Bajrang Dal workers in Mumbai. Now, have you joined hands with anti-Hindus to finish off Asaram Bapu? Has he (Bapu) done anything against Maa Bharati, Sanatan Hindu Dharm, Hindu Sanskruti, Hindu Unity or Hindus? Couldn’t you have avoided such inhuman and illegal actions? It seems power has gone into your head and has corrupted you completely. Jayalalitha arrested Kanchi Shankar-acharya Swamiji. You know her fate now. It is Vinasha Kale Vipareet Buddhi. May Ishwar give you sadbuddhi.
I will publish this letter in Hindu Voice, January 2010 edition. I may even post them in internet. If I receive your reply, I can publish that too along with this letter, so that my readers get both the sides of the story.
Thank you.
Yours truly
In the Service of Bharat Mata

Narendra Modi Vs Asaram Bapu (or VHP?)
P. Deivamuthu, Editor, Hindu Voice
Dear readers, You may be wondering as to what has happened to me that suddenly I start attacking Narendra Modiji, whom I was praising sky high till the other day. It is true - I described him as the modern Sardar Patel and the future hope for India.
Before I answer the question, let me give you a brief background of the issue at hand. Sant Asaram Bapu is a Hindu Sant. He has his main ashram at Sabarmati, Ahmedabad, with about 300 branches all over the country. He has crores of followers all over the world, although people in the South may not be aware of him much. He is conducting Gurukulams and many Service Projects. His organisation is giving a tough fight to Christian missionaries in remote places. He has thousands of selfless Sadaks (followers) who undertake various service activities all over the country, including relief operations at the time of natural calamities. Whether one is his follower or not, he is a Spiritual Guru for many and a staunch Hindu Sant promoting Sanatan Hindu Dharm and Hindu culture.
Last year, two boys studying in his Gurukulam were missing and later their dead bodies were found near the Sabarmati river. Ashram sources say that some Christian missionaries’ hands are suspected in the murder. Police enquiry is on.
Meantime a Gujarati daily - Sandesh - brought out many cartoons showing Asaram Bapu in a bad taste and in sexual postures with girls. His followers suspected that the Christian missionaries have paid the paper to tarnish his image. On 26th November 2009, his followers took out a moun (silent) morcha to the office of the Sandesh, to protest against the cartoons. It is reported that there was a scuffle between the police and the Sadaks. Next day, 27th Nov. 2009, the Gujarat police raided the Ashram and started mercilessly beating the inmates. They broke window panes and doors. They looted cash from the cash box and also smashed a dozen computers. They dragged some of the Sadaks to the police van by holding their hair. It was just vandalism by the men in uniform against a Hindu ashram. The behaviour of the police is unlawful and undemocratic.
On 5th Dec. 2009, one of his former Sadaks, who has now turned against Sant Asaram Bapu, was shot at while he was riding a bike in Ahmedabad. The Ashram sources say that it is a fake shoot out, and the person has not got any injury and the police is hiding him. But the police has prepared an FIR making Sant Asaram Bapu as one of the accused, along with two others. Even a common man will think as to why a Sant having crores of followers all over the world should attempt to murder some one. But the Gujarat police thinks otherwise.
Now my answer. My only loyalty is to Mother Bharat and not to any individual or religious order. I support all individuals, Organisations, Sadhus and Sants as long as they are serving Sanatan Hindu Dharm and Mother Bharat. The moment one does anything against Hindu interests, I start criticising him. Thus, I do not follow any leader blindly, including Sant Asaram Bapuji and Modiji. Since I do not expect any benefit from any leader nor do I have any vested interest in him, when he does something against Hindu Sants or Hindu interests, I naturally raise my voice. This is what I did when Jayalalitha arrested Kanchi Shankaracharya in Nov. 2004.
My criticism is based on issues. For example, in the case of Swami Ram Devji, my only objection was for his calling Quran a Dharm Granth, which is false (I have not received any reply from Swamiji so far). Except this, I fully support his movement. Similarly in the case of Narendra Modi, my criticism is only for his attacking a Hindu institution and falsely implicating Asaram Bapu in an alleged murder case. For this, he (Modiji) is even resorting to unlawful and undemocratic means.
Did he (Asaram Bapu) do anything against Hindu interests? When the Dharma Raksha Manch Meeting was held in Mumbai on 29th January 2009, he was the president of that meeting. When such a revered Sant is attacked, no sane Hindu can remain silent.
A lot of publicity is made in the media about usurping of lands. Hundreds of acres of Hindu temple lands are usurped and Masjids and Churches are built on them, and no one even murmurs. What is the harm in using vacant lands for temporary Satsangs? And there is a civil procedure to sort out the matter.
Since the attack on the Ashram on 27th Nov. 2009, many Sadaks of Asram Bapu have come and met me. I have talked to many RSS and VHP leaders too. I have even talked to my friends in Ahmedabad and other places. Every one agrees that what Modi did is utterly wrong. However, for obvious reasons, they do not say it publicly.
I met one Sadak of the Ashram recently. He said, he was one of the persons who entered inside the Babri Structure on 6th Dec. 1992 and demolished it. While returning, he was carrying with him some bricks out of the demolished structure, as a souvenir. When he alighted at the Ahmedabad railway station, he was arrested by the Police. Even at that time the police did not treat him in the way they treated him now by the Modi government. He is in the wanted list of the police. Being a Sadak, he was having long hair and beard; now he has shaved off every thing to hide his identity and changed his name. He has changed his clothings too and is now on the run. He was wondering whether he is living in a Hindu-majority Bharat or in Pakistan. It reminds one of the emergency days. And this is happening in a state which, we all were proud till recently, is being ruled by a Hindutva mascot.
I am told that Mr. Modi even refused to meet Ashok Singhalji on this matter. And I am sure, he may even veto RSS Chief, Mohan Bhagavat Ji. Modi has become so arrogant (like Jayalalitha) that he does not want to listen to any one. The result is that he is creating more enemies out of his friends. One reason for this is that Modi may have come to the conclusion that Hindutva will no more bring votes, and a secular face with development plank will work wonders at the elections. If any Hindu leader starts thinking in this way after coming to power with Hindu votes, he is backstabbing the Hindus, and is the biggest fraudster.
Parties like the Congress, Communists, DMK, etc. do protect their supporters even if they commit criminal offence or anti-national acts. For example, the Kerala Assembly passed a resolution asking the TN government to release Abdul Nasser Madani (who plotted the Coimbatore blast to kill Mr. LK Advani). This is how they preserve their vote bank which enables them to come to power again and again although no development worth the name takes place under their regime. But here is a so called Hindus CMs, who in the name of good governance, do not hesitate to even antagonise his staunch supporters and vote bank. Heaven would not have fallen if Modi did not act against Asaram Bapu. If this is not idiocy, what it is? This is what arrogant Jayalalitha did to Kanchi Shankaracharya Swamiji. We know her fate today. The cost of antagonising Hindu vote bank may be heavy for Narendra Modi and BJP too.
I am surprised that none of the Hindu Sants and Dharmagurus have raised their voice publicly against the unilateral actions of Narendra Modi. When needed, they took the help of Asaram Bapu (for the Dharma Raksha Manch in Mumbai, his pandal was utilised). Also, when Kanchi Shankaracharya was arrested by Jayalalitha, Asaram Bapu sat in a dharna in front of parliament along with many other dignitaries. But now when he is being harassed, there is muted reponse. Is this the way to show Hindu unity?
It is unfortunate that instead of fighting against the enemies of Hindus, we have to waste a considerable amount of our time in fighting our own brethren for their impudent anti-Hindu acts. The present incident is one such case. No doubt, Hindus have become the laughing stock and I am sure, our enemies are indeed laughing at us.
In conclusion, I would like to say that Mr. Narendra Modi is no more a Hindutva mascot. He has already revolted against VHP. He may also not care for the RSS chief. Such is his arrogance that he may even revolt against the Central BJP and go for his own formation in Gujarat, if it questions him. For this he needs a secular face (along with development), which he is trying to create by taking on Asaram Bapu, who is a VHP supporter. And it is a sad day for Hindus, who are taken for a ride by our so called Hindutva leaders again and again. If my assumptions prove to be wrong, I would be most happy.

All Allegations leveled against Pujya Bapuji & His Ashram False & Fabricated !!
The endless chain of conspiracies being perpetrated for a long time against Param Pujya Sant Sri Asaramji Bapu by a gang of intriguers supported by traitors who have been spending crores of rupees to malign Indian culture was exposed on A2Z News Channel. The truth of the conspiracies being perpetrated by enemies of Indian culture against Pujya Bapuji, who is doing all within his reach to spread the invaluable message of Indian culture throughout the world, was revealed in a sting operation wherein Raju Lambu, who had been expelled from the Ashram, unwittingly gave details of the nefarious activities of his gang before the spy camera.
Raju Chandak alias Raju Lambu was burning with hatred and envy after being expelled from the Ashram because of his self-willed and indecent behaviour. Consequently he hatched a horrendous conspiracy against the Ashram. To give effect to the conspiracy, he had been proceeding in a well-planned manner from the year 2005 itself. In furtherance of his malicious intent, he associated with other people expelled from the Ashram and formed a gang of such people.
This gang of schemers made use of newspapers, TV Channels and advocates to carry out its plans. The gang had the evil intention of extorting money from the Ashram by way of repeated threats. Faced with failure of their wicked plans, they colluded with anti-Hindu elements and set in motion a series of diabolical attempts at shaking people’s faith in Pujya Bapuji.
These people made extensive use of the media in order to tarnish the spanking image of Pujya Bapuji and the Ashram in the eyes of the society; to malign the Ashram and the Gurukuls and to initiate or get initiated false legal cases against the Ashram. Raju, who used the media as a tool in this unholy drive, says, “Media people are kids. Whatever you give to the media, the media will publish it as a scandal. Their sole intention is to increase T. R. P.”
The circulation and T. R. P. of such newspapers and channels ultimately comes down. The newspapers and TV Channels that provide a platform to such people should now open their eyes.
The intentions of the conspirers are so foul that they are doing everything in their power to destroy the very existence of the Ashram and are spending money like water to that end. Raju is just a part of this anti-national gang. Who are the people providing these anti-national, anti-social, anti-religion and anti-culture conspirers with fabricated stories? Now such people stand exposed before the people of Gujarat as also before the country at large.
Another mastermind of the sinister campaign was Amrit Prajapati, a Vaidya by profession who had crossed all limits of depravity. His dirty mind was unveiled by the false and fabricated allegations of moral turpitude he levelled against Pujya Bapuji. To further his nefarious designs, he produced a Burka-clad woman before the media and made her level false, imaginary and baseless allegations
against Pujya Bapuji. But later, in the course of police interrogation he admitted that the Burka-clad woman was none other than his own wife. Raju’s utterances captured in the sting operation too corroborate this fact.
against Pujya Bapuji. But later, in the course of police interrogation he admitted that the Burka-clad woman was none other than his own wife. Raju’s utterances captured in the sting operation too corroborate this fact.
Exposing another front-runner of the vilification campaign, the so-called Aghori, Raju said before the hidden camera, “In the evening, the Aghori told me that he wanted liquor for offering it to the Divine Mother. I provided him liquor everyday for five days and waited on him from morning till evening. He asked for the services of a prostitute also.” Further in the course of his conversation he also revealed the fact that he had arranged a sum of 40000 rupees to be given by a political party to the sorcerer who wears black clothes.
One Mahendra Chawla too was presented before the media to make false allegations against Shri Narayan Sai. Revealing this, Raju Lambu offered to the TV anchor, “We have made Mahendra Chawla worth crores of rupees. We will get you so much publicity that you too will get crores of rupees.”
Raju Lambu also revealed before the hidden camera the names of important members of his gang – Dinesh, Mahendra Chawla, Avin Verma, Vina Chauhan, Amrit Prajapati, Devendra etc. People of this country and particularly Sadhakas need to beware of such enemies of the society. Such people should be interrogated and exposed before the society.
In spite of the conspiracies perpetrated by these people to shake people’s faith, the number of people gathering to listen to Pujya Bapuji is breaking all records and gives an affectionate advice to the conspirers, ‘Take a clue from this at least and let wiser sense prevail on you.’
It is worth mentioning that once Pundit Madan Mohan Malviya placed his hand on Pundit Nehru’s shoulder and pointing towards the mammoth gathering that had collected on the Kumbha festival, he said, “Look Nehru! India is a predominantly religious country. Whoever tries to shake the faith of the people of this country will be destroyed by the people.”
Indians can tolerate a lot many things but they cannot tolerate attacks on their faith. Whoever has tried to do it has been made to bite dust. The faith of people in saints and great personages of Indian culture has remained unshakeable.
Faruq Mohammad, a Muslim social journalist of Surat (Gujarat) writes, “I have seen with my own eyes that in the Ashram the message given is that of love, selfless service, Bhakti and peace. It is difficult to fool even thousands but Bapu has cast a spell on three to four crores of people.”
Humanitarian Activities of Ashram
The first Ashram was established at Ahmedabad, in Gujrat, on the banks of the river Sabarmati, in 1972. This Ashram has many branches today & is the heart of various activities carried on the by the organization. As of today , there are about 126 Ashrams all over India & more than 1000 meditation centers operating throughout the world. The Yoga-Vedanta Ashram in Matawan, NJ, USA is also growing fast.
The aim of Ashram & Yoga Vedanta Samitis is to show the path of real peace & happiness to common man. They are involved in various activities targeted to the spiritual, moral, educational & health related upliftment of the society. The organization is also involved in providing financial-aid to the poor & needy.
Some Pictures of the Humanitarian Activities of Ashram have been put together below:
Sant Shri Asaramji Gaushala: A Unique Cow Protection Project & Source of livelihood to 200 families.
Sant Shri Asaramji Ashram, Nevai houses over 4700 cows. Some years back there was a terrible drought in Rajasthan and these cows were being sent to slaughter houses.
Moved by the plight of the cows, Sant Shri Asaramji Bapu intervened and acquired all the above cows after compensating the farmers, the cows were acquired. But how to sustain them in a water scarce region? Where to mobilise funds for their fodder and sustenance? And the fact that these cows were being sent to slaughter houses was a pointer that these cows were not rich milk-yielding cows. So income from sale of milk produce would not suffice to sustain the cows.
So a distillation plant was set up here in Newai and now you have gau mutra being sold as gau jharan ark (filtered concentrate) at all ashrams. The devotees from the cities, where gau mutra is not available, get easy access to this mutra through bottled gau ark .The devotees enjoy good health through regular consumption of ark and from the sale proceeds of the ark, gau seva gets done. For those who can't stand the pungent odour of gau ark, for them the ashram has come out with gau jharan vatti- gau mutra in a tablet form. The cow dung too has immense purifying value. It is also a fuel . So you have cow dung being used at Newai ashram for manufacture of gau chandan dhoop battti. Pujya Bapuji mentions that he invariably uses gau chandan dhoop batti in his meditation room in preference to other dhoop vatti as it helps in cleansing the bad vibes .Another medicinal produce from cow is panch gavya- a mixture of cow milk, cow ghee, cow dung, cow urine, cow curd.
The cow dung at Newai ashram is also being used to manufacture khechua khaad(a special type of compost manure). These manure has found a huge demand in the tea gardens of assam.
Another spin off benefit of the Newai ashram has been that it has created lot of employment opportunity for the local villagers, who were without any livelihood in this arid region.Sant Shri Asaramji Ashram provides source of livelihood to more than 200 families of Newai and villages nearby.

H.H. Bapu says in His satsang, Gau maa is an abode of 33 crore gods.Rigveda (1-164-40) speaks for the worship of cow for good luck and fortune. Rigveda (10-87-16) call upon people to smolder the head of the person who kills the cow. Atharavveda (Kand 12/5) prescribes exemplary punishment for cow killing and talks about protection and samvardhan of cow and its progeny for agriculture.
Brahmvavart Purana explains in detail the importance of cow to our life and nutritive value of its milk and ghee and lays down the necessity of rearing a cow and says that one will be healthy if he does not eat cow meat. The importance of gauseva could be understood well if we look back to Indian scriptures and philosophy. Lord Krishna as the young child tells her mother Yashoda that he could not do gauseva in his previous births and missed this wonderful experience. He asserts that his present birth is to do gauseva with his own hands and he becomes Gopal. King Dalip offers himself to the lion in a forest to save his cow and Chayvan Rishi proclaims that the whole kingdom is not worth his value except the cow.
Vishnudharmottar Purana explains the capability of the cow to clean and protect the environment. Virtues of the cow are immense and all scriptures bring out this fact and compare cow as encompassing the whole universe. Much has been written in ayurveda about the medicinal properties of gau mutra.
Orissa Cyclone Relief: A flash-back
The ashram, under the supervision of Bapu, had carried out relief work in cyclone-hit Orissa in 1999. It had 80 relief camps in the areas where the impact of the cyclone was maximum. R K Jain, former president of the Supreme Court Bar Association who has launched the each-one-feed-one movement, spoke highly of that relief activity. "Bapuji's ashram saved several lives. The team reached the worst hit interiors and in many places it was the first to come to the rescue of the dying."

Tsunami Relief Efforts in India
The Tsunami tragedy has affected thousands in India and other parts of Asia. Through the inspiration provided by His Holiness Sant Sri Asararmji Bapu, the Ashram is engaged in relief work for the affected victims by sending volunteers to the affected areas with truck loads of clothes, food and medicines. While the current efforts are to provide immediate relief to the affected, the Ashram is also engaged in efforts which will provide long term settlement to the displaced people and give them long-term relief.
Ashram's relief work includes constructing new permanent shelters for the homeless, providing treatment through specialist doctors in mobile clinics run by the Ashram, distributing items of day to day necessity like food packets, food grains, clothing, blankets, tents, canvas, utensils, water, medicines, foot-wear in the areas affected by natural calamity, are all been executed proficiently and enthusiastically in the past.
A team of over 100 relief workers from Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad have already reached the affected areas along with 2 truck loads of rice and other food items to provide urgent relief in the heart-rending situation arising out of the Tsunami waves that struck South-India. Arrangements are also being made to start free food camps in Cuddalore, Nagapattnam and Nagercoil.
Ashram's delegation also attended the meeting on 29th Dec., in which the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat urged various social bodies to help the victims of the Tsunami disaster. As per the decision taken in the meeting, the following relief material has already been sent by the Ashram on an emergency basis through a special goods train that left Ahmedabad on 1st Jan 2005.
- 6 tons of rice (1200 packets of 5kg. Rice)
- 1 ton of sugar
- 130 tents
- 36 canvases
- 500 mattresses
- 1305 sets of utensils
- 1486 blankets
- 5259 packets of biscuit
The Samitis across the country have joined hands to help in this relief effort. The administrators’ of the ashrams are in touch with the central and state govts. and are making arrangements for further relief efforts.
Asaram Bapu comes to the aid of farmers
